At Read2Rise, we are committed to generating, disseminating, and preserving knowledge, and to working with others to bring this knowledge to bear on the world’s great challenges.
Our students combine rigor with curiosity, playful imagination, and an appetite for learning to tackle social challenges, pursue fundamental questions, and translate ideas into action.
Read2Rise is dedicated to providing its students with an education that combines academic study and the excitement of discovery with the support and intellectual stimulation of skilled teachers. We seek to develop in each student the ability and passion to work wisely, creatively, and effectively for the betterment of humankind.
We provide and advance Islamic knowledge and secular knowledge. Whilst educating students with reciting the Holy Quran in a manner that is only befitting with the rights of the Holy Quran and covering a wide area of topics related to their advancement of understanding the Islamic way of life, we also enrich students in areas of secular knowledge that will best serve the nation and the world in the 21st century.
At Read2Rise, we have a dedicated, diverse and capable team who are focused on accomplishing the goals of care and learning.
How long will my child take to settle in?
As the class system may differ to what your child has previously encountered, it may be something new to your child, but nonetheless a much needed breath of fresh air, however, as the classroom system is already strongly structured and the classroom leaders have immense experience, they will ensure your child settles into the upgraded version of teaching quickly and efficiently. They are nurtured and cared for in an environment which supports and encourages the gregarious child as much as the shy child, so that both may continue to grow in courage and confidence.
What will my child achieve?
By the time they leave us, the children have matured and gained in confidence and acquired the knowledge, skills and understanding that will take them comfortably into the next stage of their life.
Setting boundaries
We recognise that, as adults, it is our duty to set firm boundaries for good behaviour. From the early years upwards, high quality, caring teachers ensure that children understand what is expected and that they are prepared for the sometimes difficult choices which they may have to make as they grow older. At Read2Rise, children are encouraged to enjoy their successes and celebrate their achievements
Educational Theory
There are many theories of education but the key to identifying and unleashing talent is to provide children with enriched experiences which will allow them to discover where their own talent, capabilities and potential lie. It is our belief that all children need love, guidance and consistency, and that they should be rewarded for real effort and achievement.
Parents
As partners in education, we hope that you will work with us and support us in deciding what is in your child’s best interest. We provide parental portals for communication with parents.If your child makes a mistake and learns from it, we view that as a success. We hope parents will encourage their child, praise them for a job well done, and not be afraid to point out when they could have done better.
What we wish to achieve?
Self- esteem and confidence are the most important predictors of future success.Self-esteem comes from being aware of your responsibilities as well as your rights.At Read2Rise, children are encouraged to be confident but, at the same time, to be humble, tolerant and respectful of others. Children have a positive outlook and are willing to try again, if, at first, they don’t succeed.
We strive to provide our learners with a high standard of education and personal development based upon firm adherence to the Quran and Sunnah. Our academic curriculum is established on best practice and diverse teaching methods, whilst remaining adaptable and creative in order to cater for the diverse needs and abilities of all children in our care.
